Regular Classes
Advice for Life
We offer a range of classes at the Centre and at various locations around the Wirral, for those just interested in learning to meditate through to those who want to explore Buddhist philosophy on a deeper level.
Our weekly drop-in classes are suitable for all, Buddhist/non-Buddhist/beginners and the more experienced. These include:-
- Evening and day-time classes combining guided meditations and practical advice on how to solve our daily problems and find lasting peace and happiness.
- Lunch-time classes with guided meditation and brief talk.
- Weekly class for those interested in becoming more familiar with a Buddhist text (we are currently looking at 'Eight Steps to Happiness').
There is no need to book for the drop-in classes and each class is self-contained.
The Foundation Programme (FP) is for those wishing to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism through systematic study of Buddhist teachigs, following commentaries written by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
We currently run two FP classes. On Friday evenings we are studying 'Meaningful to Behold' and on Saturday mornings 'Joyful Path of Good Fortune".
If you are interested in enrolling on FP please contact the centre for more details.
